Jeffrey Vinson, SRA, is a highly respected real estate advisor, broker, certified appraiser, and expert witness with nearly 50 years of experience. Specializing in property valuation and real estate transactions, Jeff has guided clients through complex matters involving residential, commercial, and investment properties across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1971. He began his real estate career in 1974 as a salesperson and quickly established his own firm, Vinson and Associates, in 1977. Under his leadership, the company became a trusted name in the industry, encompassing three offices, over 125 agents, and dedicated divisions for property management, training, and appraisals.

In 1992, Jeff shifted focus to his appraisal practice after selling the brokerage division to Long and Foster Realtors. This allowed him to expand his specialized knowledge in property valuation, particularly in high-stakes situations like probate, where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount. His SRA designation, awarded by the Appraisal Institute, further underscores his elite status—less than 1% of appraisers achieve this distinction.
